Christmas Light Recycling
Don't throw away your tangled, frayed or burned-out Christmas lights this year!
In support of the Strategic Plan goal to be "green" mindful and sustainable, the Village will offer recycling of Christmas tree lights and extension cords. A receptacle is available at Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave. and the Public Works Facility, 5101 Walnut Ave. through February 1, 2014.
Items may be dropped off during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Acceptable items are:
Mini-lights (also known as Italian lights)
Special thanks to Elgin Recycling for partnering with the Village to promote sustainability in the community.
New Babysitter Page

REMINDER TO ALL HOMEOWNERS:
Homeowners - Architectural Changes Require Board Approval
This has been a continuing problem, so we are featuring it right up front on the
website. Per the covenants, any change that alters the outside appear ance of
your property or that has the potential to affect your neighbors in any way must
be approved by the OBHA Board. The approval process is quick and usually quite
painless. Please refer to the Administration Page, or jump directly to the
Architectural Information Page.
This site has been established as the central location for news and information
